How do you know the difference between cramping and ligament stretching? Also at 17 weeks did you feel your baby move and what did it feel like?
I didn't feel her till I was 19 weeks and it felt like gas lol
If the cramping gets unbareable just go to the ER and they should be able to tell you if its normal or not.
I would definitely look into getting a new dr. Or even a midwife. Your dr should always answer all your questions and give you enough time to do so as well. My dr in the beginning was terrible and short with me so I got a new one who I adore now. You're still pretty early so changing your dr is still an option
Hmmm, is it a practice in which you can see another obgyn? If you are able to, might be the time to look at other doctors.
I had cramping at one point as well. For me it was persistent and increasing in pain that lasted over several days in which I finally went to the doctor--was scolded for waiting so long. Found out I had an UTI. I agree with @katiesolger.
@katiesolger, I've attempted to reach her but her office was closed and then again she never gives me a straight answer for any question I ask.
Cramping is normal as long as there isn't any spotting. If you're concerned always talk to your dr 😊 better safe then sorry. And you might not feel your baby move till around 20-25 weeks. Everyone is different 😊
I don't feel butterflies or pop corn. I have slight cramping in my lower adomen but not harsh enough to be period or miscarriage cramping. I'm starting to worry. @katiesolger @littlelemon
I didn't feel him move until around the 23rd week. For me, it feels like something trying to get out! Okay, I'm slightly exaggerating but it's almost feel like a strong rumbling. My doctor describe the feeling as butterflies fluttering--which if it was 100 of them, maybe.
I'm not sure about the cramping but when I felt my man move around that time it felt like some one was tapping on my belly or popping popcorn
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

@katiesolger, would a midwife be a better choice? I've heard from certain people that they prefer a midwife to a obgyn.
