ok i got two questions...my baby is 10days today..ok first ? his embilical cord fell off this morning so should i put alcohol on it or around it to clean it up some? he has alittle dried blood around his belly button....second ? is should i be putting baby powder on his boy parts after i change him or only if he has a rash or something? i just feel like maybe he's dry down there and i dont want him uncomfortable....

no alcohol isn't necessary once the cord falls off your free to fully bathe them. also baby powder is a parents choice like some put it on every diaper change and.some don't use it at all. it doesn't make a different if it's on or not but if you'd like to put it on then you can won't do any harm:) hope this helps mama

I cleaned mine when his fell off still bc he had a little left inside his belly button of that makes sense. and I don't put anything down there unless he has a rash and I only use a&d except when he cut his circ I put vasiline
