I'm new to breastfeeding. I didn't with my 1st child but I am now. And I got a pump and bags ans all that but can I freeze my milk and if so how long is it good for. I'm kinda just winging it . not even sure how long to pump for π¦

aw I read on my pump info that I can I can keep room temp for 3 -4 hours freeze 6 month to a year and frig 72 hours to 5-8 days

I was told by my lactation lady, 6 hours room temp, 6 days in fridge and 6 months in freezer. I did this with my first baby, but she refused frozen milk. I literally cried when I threw it away.
3's rule: 3 hours room temp, 3 days in fridge, 3 months in freezer. Be careful not to over fill the freezer bags. I made that mistake once and they all cracked and went bad. I had a good supply going to. π

Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? π©π© & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
