it's not worth it I've heard it does and doesn't and regardless you will get the runs very bad either way and who knows if it can possibly make your baby pass the 1st bowel in you and is not good at all, I got induced and my daughter went to the bathroom inside of me and when she was born they had to take her from me to make sure she didn't eat anyway I would try safer things, see if they have a ball for you to bounce on or there's certain pressure points you can try

i used caster oil, it worked for me with both my kids and it never gave me the runs.

@odixiedelight, my mom took it with me at 36 weeks and she said it didn't give her the runs or anything. She went into labor with me the next morning. I'm perfectly heathly to this day.

i say take it. whst do you have to lose. Its not that bad, just have something handy to chase it with. It does taste nasty

I went into labor with both my kids within 4-6hrs after taking it. They are both fine, no complications either.
