labor story.
started having contractions Saturday morning, went to hospital at 7pm they sent me home with some medicine to sleep was only 2cm dilated, contractions weren't strong enough. went home took a bath took medicine and couldn't sleep pain just kept getting worse went back to hospital at 4am was 3cm dilated and 90% effaced they admitted me. I had back labor so I couldn't stand to sit down it would hurt to bend over and couldn't be on my back, I got in the tub with warm water at the hospital, walked around & got the epidural at 9am. I was able to go to sleep for a while. by 12 pm I was 5cm dilated and they tried changing babies position since he was facing the wrong way( that's why I felt the contractions on my back) but nothing would work, at 3pm I wasn't progressing I was still 5cm so they gave me pitocin but babies heartbeat and my pressure dropped. they gave me a little more time and then they told me I had to have a c section cause his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. all I wanted to do was cry I was so scared. but at 5:18 pm my baby boy was born. and recovery for c section is hard & painful but at least he's here and healthy
@audreys_mommy2015, yea it doesn't take long at all, the recovery for me has been the toughest
I'm so scared of having one but I heard they font take too long and before u know it your little ones out
@audreys_mommy2015 yes it was, at least for me cause I wasn't prepared for it at all. after they told me all i wanted to do was cry. and when they are doing it you can feel a lot of pressure and pulling but no pain.
I bet if I end up getting a c section it'll suck since I live upstairs
