Any mommies have big inside dogs? How'd you introduce baby and your puppy dogs?

Does this look like a dog? If so, what kind? Someone posted it on a lost dog Facebook page and said that she is very skinny and looks like she's been on her own for a while. She kind of looks like a baby fox or coyote to me.
Family friendly guard dogs? Which are the best? We were planning on getting a new dog but after reading that Peeping Tom post a few days ago, I now know it needs to be a good guard dog/protector of my babies!!
So my bf just beat the hell out of my dog and idk what to do now. I want to leave but don't have my paper yet to take my dog with me anywhere I go
Dog moms ? Someone says that they got their hair done and a mani/pedi for Mother's Day. They don't have any children and it was a gift from her dog. She also says that she's so proud of her boyfriend for recognizing that it's hard being a dog mom too. What is your response?
Can’t decide which dog to rescue 😭

I have a Weimaraner and a Boxer, of course both bigger dogs. The Weimaraner is a puppy now, but we had the boxer when my son was born and he's always been around big dogs. It's good to get a receiving blanket that the baby has used and let the dog have it, put it in its bed, and let them get use to the scent. Then, put the baby in its car seat in the floor and let the dogs do their sniffing, then switch from the car seat to a blanket on the floor and let them interact with each other. Just be careful in case your dog has separation anxiety, our boxer does, so we make sure to give her the same attention we did before the baby was here. Our weimy now loves my son, and we'll be introducing them both to a new baby in February. ☺️

@natesgirl, did you do anything to prepare your puppy or just let him/her do their own thing

I just kinda let him sniff the baby when I brought him home. my dog instantly took up with him and guarded his room and stayed right next to his bed lol

But mostly just let them do their own thing. They will get the hang of it, especially if your LO is anything like my son wanting to crawl on top of them 24/7 lol

@mommygrant_xoxo, that's great! .. I have a chihuahua and a lab heeler mix. . Not worried about my chihuahua or really my big dog I just wanna make sure we introduce right and they don't think we've forgotten about them. They're both going to my in laws while in the hospital and I'm thinking bringing them back after our first night home. I don't wanna keep them away too long. I was thinking about holding my daughter while my husband brings them in

Yes! That's a great idea. They will be interested in what you have, of course something new. :)

В ожидании первенца
these are my 2 fur babies. I'm a little nervous to see how they're going to react to our baby girl who's due late September. These dogs are s0o0o spoiled!! Chocolate Labrador (1 year and 7 months) and Maltipoo (3 years next month)

It's best to have another person besides you come in with baby first and make the dog lay down before allowing the dog to sniff the baby. Then you come in and hold baby and allow the dog to sniff some more after laying down. Make sure to give lots of reassurance to the dog by scratching and petting or even maybe a treat. You don't want to go in yourself holding baby because the dog might get excited to see you and jump on you and you'll probably be in some pain after childbirth.
