I had to go to the emergency room yesterday and they did and emergency ultrasound. so I didn't get to see the baby. this was not a full anatomy scan and my dr said I dont get another one and said I wont know the sex of the baby and to just by neutral stuff. how can they tell the baby is ok. im so fucking upset. my boyfriend wont talk to me he is so pissed. how can they deny me of my full anatomy scan and no pictures I dont even get to see the baby or know what it is. iv been waiting so patiently to look at babu clothes for this and I feel like iv been robbed this is my first baby and im so upset. has this happened to anynody else.... what can I do...

my insurance only covers one im looking into It arkansas just sucks they said if looks fine from the hospital then I dont get anymore. sounds like you need to switch doctors your supposed to get a certain amount of ultrasounds
That's sucks & I've never heard of tht. Usually, emergency ultrasounds dnt count as the 2 ur allowed. What I'd do is either switch doctors (bc he/she sounds very insensitive) OR pay for a gender reveal. I'm in Georgia & when I wanted to just know the sex, w no pics or anything else, it was like $30. Check into that wherever u r. Good luck! 😘
your supposed to get at most 8 ultrasounds during your pregnancy if you have insurance.
but they haven't even done your 20 weeks scan and u can only have that between 18 and 20 weeks .... I would switch doctors
That's so stupid! I've been to the er and had 3 ultra sounds and they haven't told me I can't have anatomy scan! I just had my 13 week scan today! I agree try and do a 3D/4D scan!
Set up an appointment for a 3D/4D ultra sound. That's what I did so that I can see my baby girl. I have only had two ultra sounds this entire pregnancy and after my 20 week one, they told me I get no more, so I set this one up at a different place. You have to pay out of pocket for it, but the one we are getting is only $150
Can you go get an elective 3D/4D ultra sound? And so sorry to hear that stinks. I would be upset too!
I feel that way too sometimes. Maybe you can get the blood draw to find out. :/
