So, found out today that my little girl is deaf in her left ear. Right now she has perfect hearing in her right ear, but the specialist said it needs to be watched because it may change. I feel like the world is falling apart. I wish that I could fix this for her.

Sign language is a great thing for both the parents and the children to learn! Technology has advanced so much and communication services are too! Don't worry, it'll be okay! Having a deaf child, or partially deaf child, is not the end of the world! And baby signs 😍 so adorable.
Isn't not bad promise. I'm married to a deaf man have dead friends. They have a pretty normal childhood. Plus when babies sign it's adorable. Chin up! You are a great mom :) hugs
Question. Emma keeps going after her ears it started last week with just her right ear and now it's both. I also noticed some green/yellow gunk in her right eye. Could this mean ear infection?

I'm having a girl in a couple months...I was thinking of getting her ears pierced at around 6 months probably (after her first round of vaccines), but I've had people tell me it's cruel and I should wait till she can make her own choice.....bla...
Girl I'm deaf and I am proud of it . I am a successful 25 years old .. A full time student and i have a smart 6 years old daughter and another baby on way with my hearing boyfriend who's the love of my life! As long as I have support and love from friends and love , being deaf is a blessing !! As long as you provide your child with sign language and just love her as she is
