So my insurance doesn't cover a breast pump. So I'm forced to add one to my registry. Well we're sitting at the dinner table and my step mom proceeds to make a big issue of the fact that I added a double electric pump to my registry instead of a single. Then we get onto the subject of breast milk. And she starts an argument with me about it! Apparently breast will not over produce milk if your baby is on a proper feeding schedule. So I guess engorgement isn't a thing! And I only need a single pump so I can feed the baby and pump the other side at the same time. Like excuse me. Did you ever breast feed. And number 2. Your children are 29 and 25...STAND THE FUCK DOWN! If I want to pump both of my breasts at the same time while my baby isn't nursing. I damn sure as hell am going to do so! And if my breast become engorged and I want to release the damn engorgement I'm gonna fucking pump. ITS MY FUCKING BODY DAMN IT!

I plan on breastfeeding as well. I honestly don't give a damn if my boobs don't look the same as long as my baby is happy and healthy I don't care. there are bras and shirts that can make my boobs look good again. lol
Wow! Yeah me and my mom joke and she knows I'll do whatever regardless. Know it all's aren't fun to deal with - they pretty much suck! Lol

as far as breastfeeding ruining your boobs is bullshit. my grandmother breastfed 4 children and her boobs are still as perky as ever and she's turning 60 this year lol. tell her it's your body not hers so she can pies off
If it makes you feel any better my mom told me something similar. Basically to do it the "old fashion way" and save some money. I told her it's okay I rather spend the money than milk myself like a cow! Lol!
The whole point of having the double pump is so I can not only breast feed. But get enough milk to bottle feed as well! And on days where I don't feel like breast feeding. But still pump I want to do both sides at once and no have to do one and then the other. I also plan on donating breast milk as long as I obviously am producing and storing plenty for my baby and meet to qualifications to donate! A lot of baby's could really benefit off breast milk while they're in the NICU! And I also want to have plenty pumped so my husband can feed and bond with our son as much as possible!!!! Also she's was all like "you're not gonna want to pump both sides at one time" like eff off hoe!!!! @mrsmoore @queenmother and thank you!
Also you may want to store some so you can leave baby for a couple of hours! People need to mind their own business!
