I'm laboring in water so I'm bringing

1)bathing suit top

2)Black yoga pants for after birth (something comfy)

3)Tank top or breastfeeding tanktop(I don't have one yet a regular tank is fine)

4)Black flowy comfy PJ pants

5)A comfy top easy to breastfeed in(I'm brining a tunic that I use as a sleep shirt)

6)Breastfeeding bra if breastfeeding

7)4 pairs of undies I dontbcare to ruin from the bleeding

8)A spaghetti strap sports bra underside is uncomfy for me while pregnant and after

9)4 Breastpads i got nuk brand they are 5 bucks for 40 but milk might/usually doesnt come in full till second or third day but just in case of leaking hospitals I believe don't provident that

10)4 sanitary pads my hospital provides the huge ones that fill your panties but you only get two of them then its to regular over night pads (the ones they gave me bunched up) so I'm bringing 4 pads in the brand I like.

11)Flip flops for showers DO NOT shower without them I did once and the floor felt greasy and gross and I developed a wart the day I left on the bottom of my big toe

12)Head band/hair ties my hair is short don't need them.

13)Brush/comb bobby pins

Hair products if you please I'd rather wait till I get home I'm not a everyday hair washer

Hand sanitizer for guest/yourself

15)Body wash/loofa (if you don't want hospital soap mine provides dove so I won't bring any)

16)Hard candy/snack (for dad to)for labor they dont let you eat once there so nothing big maybe crackers

The candy to suck on(I got jolly ranchers) ,they let you eat popsicle or ice chips

17)I'm doing natural so a focus point I'm bring a picture of my mom who passed and something of my kids just for comfort measures nothing big n heavy.

18)My laptop/charger for afterwards to watch movies on update friend or even for calming music during labor

19)And a mini journal to write baby's arrival time and just to write personal stuff in for baby's album

20)Insurance card id ,cash for vending machine for dad and or ordering food after baby is here as dad will not be provided with a meal as you will be

21)Don't forget phone/charger

And you can pack daddy overnight clothes but he can leave to change so its not necessary unless he doesn't want to leave .

Looks like a lot but its really not (lol if you wanted you could just bring your babys stuff a chang or two of clothes/undies for you)the heaviest thing in there is the laptop if you want a going home outfit I'm just going home in jammies no need to look like a run way model unless you want to lol I'd be to tired and sore to dress up and do makeup and hair but some people do for pictures.. Oh yea

22socks or slippers (hospitals provide socks I'll bring 1pair)

I chose dark clothing because of all the bleeding and incase of leaks if you have guest you don't want them to see that when you get up haha you could bring a robe but to me thats bulky and added weight

A sample size wipes(because my hospital uses wash cloths I don't like that)

Mitts to prevent scratching or you can bring clippers set doctors won't do it for you

3 Onsie some hospitals say the t-shirts baby's wear after birth ate better to prevent irritating the cord but I've never had that problem and they didn't have the rule or advice where I go and I bring three because baby's poo is very runny and at time leak out of their diapers

1 pair pants

Sleeper (I just like my kids sleeping them there so cute)

Home coming outfit

I brought my first aid kit only for the clippers and doctors will not clip or supply them, it has brush and comb in it but hospitals usually supply that part

If your formula feeding depending how far away you live from the hospital bring those little bottles of premade formula so on the car ride home you can sit in back and feed baby in his/her seat (I live 30 mins away although breastfeeding I'm bringing one because I obviously can't take baby out of seat to feed him in moving car lol

And I just brought a cute tiny little snuggle toy with a pacifier attached (I'm breastfeeding so formula and pacifiers should be given until baby is good with latching to breast)

If your hospital offers professional pictures for baby bring a outfit for that I'm just using his home coming outfit for that
