That's crazy are you in Texas the medicaid case worker told me there's no way I would get approved because I make way to much money and they did deny me the first time so I went to this place called grand expectations and she helped me fill out another Medicaid application she said they can't deny u benefits if your pregnant and 3 weeks later I checked back and I had been approved I have first care
It sucks because if you actually work for a living you can't get any help, but if you have no job they give you everything. Should be help for people who work too.
I'm thinking @shortiebs you have to be pretty broke! It comes down to more than income and family size! Utility bills, gas, food, car problems, insurance, rent, phone, and medications, clothes, hygiene... But they don't really care

Same here, I was told my husband makes too much for us to get any help. Yet we struggle every month. It really sucks.

I have blue cross blue shield through my job but I also was able to get Medicaid but I only make about 13,000-14,000 a year as an assistant teacher.
