Just enjoy the time you have now with your husband because everything does change. But a good change. Me and my husband are young so we decided we will party when we are 40 lol and go on vacations then

@jennatess, I know I'm scared of bringing her home too. I've had experience with 2+ year olds working in daycare but never infants! Thankfully my mom is going to come and stay with us for a week or 2 when she's here. At first I wasn't sure if I could handle my mom for that long but now I'm like yessss stay as long as you'd like! Thinking about being all alone especially being in pain after birth and who knows if I'm gonna need a c-section.. I heard you can't really move for like 2 weeks after. Then I also have 2 dogs to care for!

@angelface416, exactly! and I feel like we're young, so maybe we should have waited and cherished our time we have together now before having a baby. But it wasn't planned or expected and that happens. But it's like damn I'm gonna miss it just being us hanging out. And it's okay I didn't tell anyone besides my mom until I was like 13 weeks or something. And still haven't announced on Facebook lol it's no ones business but yours! I was worried about my dads response but he was actually excited to my surprise and even bought us a crib lol

@abtayy, i agree! I think the men don't really understand the depth of it all until the baby is in their arms. But, they will adjust. Just like we will. I think our hormones kick in and we start to panic a bit. For me, it's more afraid of the idea of bringing her home for the first time. Just us three..alone. I'm so scared to mess up! 😕

Giiiirl I hear you on that! I haven't told anyone in my family except for my mom who is very excited to be a grandma at 46 LOL I am terrified of what my dad is going to say, as well as many others. I love our little one too already, and his/her daddy does too... I just don't want us to forget where we started a year ago and lose our friendship with each other

@jennatess, I think you're right. It's scary knowing it'll never be the same again. He says he isn't nervous and he's ready and it makes me feel like it's not normal for me to feel like this. I don't think he realizes that things are changing big time

@angelface416, I know I feel the same way. Especially scared about delivery and I'm worried the stress in the beginning will push us apart instead of making us closer. Hopefully it's not like that though. I love my baby so much but I have some pretty bad anxiety over everything!

I get terrified on the regular. For years it's just been my husband and I. I know our lives are going to never be the same, and that almost makes me sad a bit. I know having a child will be amazing, and a beautiful adventure he and I get to share, but it's still really really scary! I think that's just normal to feel that way. 😊

I feel like that too mama... I am scared about delivery and my man and I being able to keep our relationship going. I am happy that he is the father of our child, woudln't want it to be anyone else, I am just scared that things will fall apart because of us not having time together.
