My 2 week old baby girl has already gotten into the habit to where she won't sleep unless I am holding her and when I go to place her down she will wake up and cry but when I pick her up she goes right back to sleep... how do I break her of this?

please don't let her cry it out. if she's happy in your arms, maybe she just wants to be cuddled. wrap her up in a Moby and just enjoy the little cuddles
@emilyyy96___, I do burp and swaddle her after a good feeding and still she just doesn't want to be put down :(

if she's only 2 weeks, and crying like that, maybe she has gas and the pressure helps male her tummy feel better. try swaddling her and burping her really good. you CAN'T spoil a baby.
I've been trying that but it doesn't seem to work with her ... and I'm so tired because I'm scared to fall asleep with her in my arms.
Babies learn early on that if they cry they will get their way so if nothing is wrong they will still cry because they just want to be held. If you let them cry a bit after making sure nothing is wrong such as changing feeding ect then it won't last long. I hope that helps hun
As hard as it is when you put her down you may just have to let her cry. If she cries and it has been 15 min pick her back up but generally they will fall asleep before then.
I let my son cry it out sometimes because if I need to do something he won't let me cause he wants to be held n I can't have that . as much as I want to hold him I just can't he can't be in arms 24/7
