Anyone else traveled a long distance while pregnant? I'm so paranoid about blood clots. We've been stopping every 2-3 hours so I can stretch, and I try to stretch a little while in the car but it's hard since I'm driving most of the way.

@shortizzie, I read that you're most likely to get them in the first 3 months!😨 I'm beyond that, and my doctor said I should be fine as long as I stretch, I was just wondering who else had traveled and what their suggestions were.

I got the ok to travel 13 hours one way when I was 28 weeks prego and I'm high risk. They told me as long as I stop to walk often and to stop to pee I should be fine and to bring a copy of my records. I ended up not going for other reasons but I woulda gone. You should be fine. Maybe if you would feel more comfortable just double check with ur doc, and make frequent stops to walk around, that'll help with preventing swelling and blood clots.

@twinmammatobe, yeah he said it'd be fine, as long as I stop every 2 hours, I've already started my trip...just didn't know if any other ladies that went on long trips had any ideas of stretches I could do in the car to help😊

@mommy122015, Ahh well maybe try lunges, rocking side to side while standing (I do that ALL the time, it's good for your hips!) it's funny cuz people look at me when I do it and then I notice they start doing it without realizing it haha!!!

@mommy122015, in the car they said to do ankle rolls, point your toes and flex them up towards you (if I'm explaining it clearly )
