🚨🚨🚨ATTN MOMMIES🚨🚨🚨
So I just talked to one of the ladies at my job and she said that I only get 30 days of leave?! I thought they were required to give me 6-8 weeks or leave depending on the situation? I have been at this job for a little more then 3 months, and when I started they told me something completely different... I don't really have anyone to talk to about leave but any advice I can get would be greatly appreciated!🚨🚨🚨🚨

They also told me after those 30 days my job isn't guaranteed?

FMLA is supposed to be the safety net for the 6-12 week job protector that you can stay home after you have the baby. Because you've been at your job for less than a year they are not required to uphold this for you. Among other factors ( depending on company size ) . However you do qualify for short term disability which legally protects you for 6-8 weeks (depending on how you deliver c-section or vaginal) . Also with short term disability you are entitled to 60% of your pay as well. Talk to your HR department About these options or your direct supervisor. I hope this helps you!

Maybe the 30 days is what's paid?
