I didn't think an insurance company could dictate who you could bring with to an appointment. I have blue shield and I would have smacked someone if they told me my son couldn't come in and be there with me. They cover you up so the kiddo won't see anything.

@10yearslater, insurance has nothing to do with who you bring. It varies from office to office, depending on the size they usually don't want no more than 2 people in there and some offices absolutely do not want small children, so most likely 12+ I know when I went to my anatomy scan it was that way as well.

my office doesnt let childs in :(... but they said that it is a high risk place and for kids safety....some peoples babies dont live and stuff..so they dont want that experience for siblings
