If your 37 weeks your considered at term, time the contractions , watch your discharge for blood (your bloody show) and you will have a lot of pressure in your pelvis. Your baby's movements will slow down and contractions will be consistent and getting closer together. It doesn't sound like you're approaching early labor especially if you're not having discharge , as your cervix opens you lose mucous that didn't come out with your mucous plug and you also lose blood . Time the contractions and go in if they get consistent every 5-7 minutes your body may be trying to go into labour but baby may not be ready, baby won't come out until baby's ready to.

To help the contractions drink a LOOOOT of water, you may be dehydrated,the uterus is a muscle therefore it will contract when it's dry
