Does sex really work to dilate the cervix?

I've heard it's worked for a lot of moms I guess it's supposed to soften it

it worked for me. I wasnt trying though. I had sex at 38weeks with my last baby and he came the next day.

@threekings101415, my baby has been head down forever lol I'll be 37 weeks Monday. And I've been 1cm dilated and half thinned for I think 2 weeks now. I haven't had sex. But my doctor said it's ok to now. That it will help. So I'm going to try it.

my doctor told me the same thing my last pregnancy. it worked for me even though I was not trying. but good luck.. 💋😊

Does it break your water? @threekings101415 cause I'm not sure how I feel about having to get my water broke
