Would it be a bad idea to switch doctors? I'm only 16 weeks, but I have had alot of complications and I feel like I would be more comfortable with a different doctor...

you do what you feel. you know your own body and have rights to switch doctors. you could always get a consultation at a high risk doctor and see what they say.

@firstbaby_girl, that's what I thought. That's why I'm uncomfortable with my current doctor.

if you're having complications they should have sent you to a high risk doctor already.

@ftmbabyboy11, thanks. It's just so difficult trying to find a good doctor where I live. I'll probably have to drive an hour away to get a good one, but anything for my baby :) @firstbaby_girl not at the moment. That's why I want to switch. Things haven't been going very well thus far. 🙏

I didn't get to see a DR till I was 16 weeks... You are still early on so you should have no problem getting another Dr. Looking up reviews online helps a lot, I got the best one I could with my insurance. Never settle for one if you are not comfortable

No, I'm switching doctors too! I'll probably be 30+ weeks when I go to my new one. I suggest doing it now, so you don't have to worry about it later. :)
