Do they let you wear any of your own clothes at the hospital after you deliver? Everytime I've gone they always make me wear nothing but the gown and I wasn't even in labor. Anyone know? I'm not sure if I should pack anything in my hospital bag for the stay...

U can wear whatever u want after delivery. Well here where I live they do.

My hospital did, I was able to change into my own clothes after the first shower you take after you deliver. It's always best to bring something you will also be comfortable in as well! :)

I changed into my clothes after delivery when I had my son in 2012 and it baffled me how many times I was asked by surprised nurses and Drs "are you going home already!?" Lol! Um noooo, is it completely abnormal to think I would be more comfortable in my own clothes than the sickly looking hospital gown??

Lol @mrsgooch. thanks ladies! I don't like the gowns. they are easy access for certain things, but others like getting up to go pee without people around bugs me out!

Once they take my IV out I was in my own clothes. I couldn't take holding it up on my shoulders.
