So went to the dr today and he swept my membranes. He also told me my cervix is open and I'm 50% effaced. Have any of you mommies gone to labor after your membranes were swept?? I have had some spotting and a little cramping but nothing major.
My 39 week appointment I was fingertip dilated and 80% effaced. Swept my membranes and nothing.. Then the next week at my 40 week appointment, I was 1 cm dilated and still 80% effaced. He swept me again (approx. at 3 pm) and started had contractions starting at 5 pm. By 10 that night I went to labor and delivery and was 3-4 cm dilated and 100% effaced. Was in labor all night, pushed at 10 am the next morning and had my daughter. I walked a lot after he swept my membranes the second time and I think that helped.
Officially have the balloon inserted it’s not as uncomfortable as having my membranes swept that’s for sure 😐
I have noticed that since I got my membrane swept today my bh contractions are stronger 😬
Had my membranes swept yesterday,lost my plus today still no stinking contractions. This baby is never coming out.
So I got my membranes swept earlier today, is there anything I can do to help induce labor? I've been having cramps but they aren't consistent
6 centimeters dilated 90% effaced and just had my membranes swept let's play a game when do you ladies think my baby girl will make her arrival😄😁😞😋😌🙆🙇
