@paigesanchez14, that's the way I am I don't eat for two and I eat healthy for the most part. I just can't help but gain this weight and I don't want my doctor to go and put me on a diet . I'm just scared .

Your doctor? My doctor already nags at me about gaining weight and makes jokes @morgans_mommie I try to ignore it also cause I really have been trying to not eat junk food and eat 24/7 . And I feel like yes 8 pounds in only almost 18 weeks is a lot but it's not like I'm sitting on my ass eating all day I work, and am raising my 1 year old nephew.Just feel like he's going to end up putting me on a diet it's my worst fear . My first pregnancy and I don't think I would be able to handle being told to go on a diet .

@countrymommy0916, my doctor only wanted me to gain 15-20 lbs and I am way past that. I never over ate or used the excuse I'm eating for 2 my body just gained what it wanted to lol

@countrymommy0916, no no diet. I couldn't do that. I have to completely ignore it to avoid falling into bad habits. I just wish she would shut up sometimes. Lol

Did your doctor tell you you've gained too much? @morgans_mommie if so has he put you on a diet ? I eat pretty healthy fruit and vegetables as snacks and regular three meals a day and I try not to over do it . Just feel like with how much I've already gained that I'm going to gain a ton also!

My mom gained almost 80, breastfed and it ALL fell off. That's crazy!

I was 122 pre pregnancy. I'm currently 134 lbs and 33 weeks pregnant. So far only 12 lbs but my doctor expects me to gain about 10 more in the next 7 weeks.

That's normal weight gain. 30 for the whole pregnancy is what my midwives said is the max I should gain. I've gained 12, and I'm going to be 22 tomorrow.

I'm sure your okay, everyone gains differently honestly depends on you metabolism. I was sick a lot so i didn't even gain 10 lbs before 25 weeks. but if your worried try not to over eat or over due it on the snacks and transfat

Honestly I wouldn't worry unless your dr says something about your weight gain. I was slightly overweight when I started this pregnancy and I was worried about the weight gain as well but my dr hasn't said anything about it

surprisingly I only gained 26 lbs with this recent pregnancy. My mom gained 40+ with me. But we both ended up having 9 lb babies.

I went from being 110 before pregnant to 147 now. I'm almost 37 weeks.

It really depends on your body. Some will gain a lot and some won't. I've just passed the normal 35lbs weight gain. You might be like your mom and you might not

my mom gained a lot, she's always been on the heavier side, i on the other hand have anyways been tiny and have only gained 17lbs. I'll be 35 weeks on Saturday. i only gained 14 lbs by week 30. most of the weight comes during the last trimester anyways

everyone is different some gain a lot some gain a little some gain none. my cousin gained what her son weighed at birth which was like 7 pounds lol just eat right and you'll be fine

lol, my mom gained 40 with me and I'm 33 weeks and I've only gained 10 pounds. and that was just within the last two weeks. I think it just depends on who you are and what going on in the pregnancy
