for one time use, yes it's fine, it's not a systemic drug, it stays in your digestive track. but they don't recommend it for more than occasional relief because you aren't digesting the food that has vitamins, minerals and fluid that you need.

I don't know for sure but my Dr said miralax, colace... Most stool softener not laxatives
