its not and indicator of labor unless there is blood and followed by consistent contractions,you can lose your mucus plug any time and it can grow back

From what I've heard the mucus plug can be lost and regenerate itself anytime during pregnancy. But since you are far along I would suggest giving her a ring just to let her know, it could be a sign labor will be progressing shortly
