when can i sponge bath my new born am not talking real bath but just a basic cloth wash ........ she still has her cord in ......please advise

ok @jabarismommy just that i wanted to use a basic cloth and wipe away not the actual bath...
Don't get water around the belly button/cord ... That's what my son doc said or it could get infected

**BIRTH STORY** March 24th 1:45am. (Me & my 10yr old home sleep) got up to use the bathroom & Had my bloody show.
