Sensitive subject!
My SIL found out she was pregnant recently and the next week found out she's miscarrying (found out Friday). She's devastated and I know exactly how that feels. I've been through one as well. I lie to people and say between 6-8wks about it but it was almost second trimester. Anyway, you can see its dredging up old feelings. But I'm here to ask yall women something. We weren't trying for another when I had mine, we were told no more babies and if I did fall pregnant it wouldn't end well. So that was that. But for her they are trying for their first child and thankfully got pregnant right away. She wants so badly to try again as soon as possible but the doctor suggested waiting at least two cycles. For this if you who have gone through this, did you wait or not wait and why? I am her rock right now since I'm the only other woman that's gone through this in her family. How did it effect you emotionally? Did you want to right away or did it just happen? I really want help on this ladies, please.

we miscarried on halloween my next cycle was a little weird but we were going to start trying in February & we got pregnant in january. it took me until 15 weeks to be convinced this baby wasnt going anywhere. im sorry for both of you and bless you for being there for her. just have some quiet time...cry it out. like the other girls said, each doc is different. mine didnt say to wait..we chose to due to our own emotions. best of luck! xo
How far along was she? Not that it matters emotionally but it takes time for the body to flush out the pregnancy hormones. I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks and we started trying as soon as my next cycle began which was about a month and a half later. My doctor said we could start trying as soon as we wanted, every doctor is different. We got pregnant 2 months later but miscarried very early at 3 weeks. We tried again right away and got pregnant 4 months later (I'm now 23weeks) I think if she's ready to try right away then she should go for it.
first let me say I'm sorry for both of you ladies lost...me and my husband are actually welcoming our first baby after 6 miscarriages I will be honest and say I did not give my body time to heal after every last one of my miscarriages we tried right after as for our daughter I'm currently pregnant with now we also hot pregnant with her right after our last miscarriage in November by December I was pregnant no I didn't plan on it but nor did I try to stop it my advice is giving ur body some time before doing it bk to bk ur body just took a blow from the miscarriage it will kinda confuse ur body at the time tho I myself was not trying to here any of that I wanted a baby
I miscarried in December, had a normal cycle in January and my doctor said I could try if I was emotionally ready. We tried that month and the next and nothing happened so we decided not to try; no charging cycles/sex, ovulation, etc, just enjoyed sex and on that third cycle I got pregnant, which is why I'm here on this app now. I mean, I would suggest she doesn't try. I really do believe it happens when you don't try. I know that's sooooo stupid to hear when you WANT to try and WANT a baby but that's what worked for me and I think it works that way for a lot of couples too.
How did you find out?
Ok so I want to know how everyone found out you were pregnant! Were you trying, was it morning sickness or did you just have a feeling?
When you first found out you were pregnant and went to the doctor did your SO go with you and were they allowed to go in the back with you? I want him to go with me to the doctor but I don't want him to just be sitting in the waiting area.
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.
Day 5: how many weeks were you when you found out baby's gender?
I was 14 weeks pregnant. They can detect the gender early through a blood test because the chromosomes show up :)
