my dr asked me today if one I hit 39 weeks did I want to be induced. I told him no.
if they are monitoring you it shouldn't be an issue, like I said mine just completely dropped the ball and essentially tried to cause my son to be stillborn, I mean I had noooo fluid.
yeah the midwife in my practice saw non-medical inductions as "social inductions" or unnecessary, but the thing is, she wasn't my doctor! I'm still mad about it. she cancelled the SAME day I was supposed to be induced. i will NEVER use a midwife, that experience just made me see they let their personal beliefs cloud their professional conduct.
I get seen the normal amount. theu measure my stomach and listen to baby each time. the ultrasound I had last week showed my fluid levels were good. baby is measuring three weeks behind tho. dr isn't concerned but I am.
I hadn't had an medical ultrasound (I had several elective) since my anatomy ultrasound. my doctor barely monitored the health of my child. I was seen at 39 weeks and then the day I was induced, idiots.
that is crazy @kanicho my ob wont let you go past 41 weeks bc of possible complications.
they cancelled my induction at 40w+3d (midwife had personal problems with inducing that early, my ob was the one that scheduled it, but she was in the same practice and the one doing inductions that day) and then never contacted me again until I was almost 42 weeks. they wanted me to go for an ultrasound so I did and I found out I had no fluid, I was rushed upstairs right then I didn't even get to go home. my baby could have been stillborn because they failed to monitor me.
what was your story if you dont mind me asking @kanicho
my doctor failed, completely dropped the ball on monitoring me until they just about killed my baby just make sure that doesn't happen to you.
I want to try to let him come on his own, after 40 weeks we can discuss induction. my dr won't go past 41 weeks.
I wish my doctor who would have given me that choice my son was born at almost 42 weeks and over nine pounds and I had an emergency induction because I had literally no fluid left, they couldn't even tell when my water broke.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 hurray! I wouldn't want to be either!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
they are doing the minimum. I feel at the least a second d scan should ve done to monitor for growth
