The hardest part about pushing for me was getting the breathing done. I didn't take any classes on it and I couldn't do the typical count to 10 exhale. I was also given a pain med before the epidural so I was really out of it.

I had no problem and I was completely numb. @audreys_mommy2015 I asked the nurse if I was even pushing right and she said I was going great. I only pushed for 15 minutes

no, u just gotta push like you're taking a poop... best way to push. it's ok if u Do poop too.. it's normal and expected. when u push you're gonna feel it in your face. you shouldn't. . u should change the way you're pushing, u can pop a vein in your eye etc.. so when u push do it Like pooping lol

Not hard, you just don't feel it so in my case I didn't know how hard I was pushing and if it was hard enough. Felt like I wasn't doing much lol

@mssjudyk, is right, push like your pooping. But I was sore and felt like my whole body was bruised the next couple of days after I had him, I asked if it was normal and my doctor said yes, you use a lot more muscles than you think. @audreys_mommy2015

I did three "big" pushes and three "little" ones and she popped right out! No more than 5 minutes. And I didn't tear.

@mssjudyk, does it take long for the epidural to wear off after?

Yea it was awesome, I went in the delivery room at about 11:30pm, pitocin a few hours later, don't remember how long and I had her at 6:51am! Epidural is life, those pitocin contractions are torture 😖
