for mommies who have had babies. is pushing the baby out hard when you get the epidural. I'm afraid of not being able to push the baby out as silly as that must sound lol
Yea it was awesome, I went in the delivery room at about 11:30pm, pitocin a few hours later, don't remember how long and I had her at 6:51am! Epidural is life, those pitocin contractions are torture 😖
@mssjudyk, does it take long for the epidural to wear off after?
@islanddreamer07, thanks yeah I'm feeling more comfortable about the epidural now so many people recommend it.
nope but my first experience with epidural was like a bad novicane. didn't kick in right away. nubs you up good though.
@arielle, that's awsome.. I'd love if it goes that way for me lol hopefully it does
@mommyofkaiden, thanks. this is good to know ahead of time :)
I did three "big" pushes and three "little" ones and she popped right out! No more than 5 minutes. And I didn't tear.
@mssjudyk, is right, push like your pooping. But I was sore and felt like my whole body was bruised the next couple of days after I had him, I asked if it was normal and my doctor said yes, you use a lot more muscles than you think. @audreys_mommy2015
Not hard, you just don't feel it so in my case I didn't know how hard I was pushing and if it was hard enough. Felt like I wasn't doing much lol
@mssjudyk, thanks I hope I don't pop any veins that's a fear I have lol
@mommyofkaiden, I hope.my experience is like that. that's what I'm hoping for.
no, u just gotta push like you're taking a poop... best way to push. it's ok if u Do poop too.. it's normal and expected. when u push you're gonna feel it in your face. you shouldn't. . u should change the way you're pushing, u can pop a vein in your eye etc.. so when u push do it Like pooping lol
I had no problem and I was completely numb. @audreys_mommy2015 I asked the nurse if I was even pushing right and she said I was going great. I only pushed for 15 minutes
@kimberlyyyy, I havnt taken any classes either and I'm due in 2 weeks lol
The hardest part about pushing for me was getting the breathing done. I didn't take any classes on it and I couldn't do the typical count to 10 exhale. I was also given a pain med before the epidural so I was really out of it.
so pushing isn't too hard? @mssjudyk how many pushes for you till she cane out?
It's not hard, they don't let u go full out numb. I just had baby yesterday... I got an epidural.. I felt everything. ..
Do pushing the afterberth out really hurts more then pushing the baby out?
Some women are really out here pushing out 8-9lbs babies!! Like no thank you 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️
What's worse labor or pushing out baby?
What hurts more...labor or pushing the baby out ? 🤔
OMG!!! Baby B(Kyrie) is pushing my belly out. Why the hell it have to hurt so bad. We going tit for tat, I push him in some and he push out more. Lol. #stubbornbaby
it takes about 45 min to 1 hour
