I am needing some advice! Keep your judgemental comments to yourself please.
My son is almost 8 months old and is still up 1-2 times a night to feed. I've tried reducing the bottle sizes and it still does nothing. He'll still wake up for that 2 oz bottle. He used to sleep thru the night before he got sick, then he caught the habit again. Any tips on things I can try?
@brodysmomma, that's awesome!!! Yea the first two or three times we did it, Violet slept for 7 hours straight. Then I think she got used to it cuz she's sleepy for 4.5 hours then wake up, breastfeed her, then back to sleep for about 3-3.5 hours. But last night and the night before she slept for 6.5-7 hrs! And your son is old enough to put more cereal in than I do. Some friends of ours said their son slept for 8-10 hours with it when he was 4mos! I'm glad little man slept for you 😁
@arielle, he slept better! Got up once idk what time it was cause I woke up to him poutin and then he crashed back out so I did to lol but then he woke up at 5 I think from my boyfriends alarm for work.
@arielle, I put oatmeal in his bed time bottle and put one of my shirts in there. Hoping it helps!!! I heard that my scent will comfort him...worth a shot! lol
Girl, mix in some oatmeal cereal (rice cereal can be constipating) in his bedtime bottle and watch him sleep all night. And he's 8mos so you can put like 2 or 3 tbs. earths best organic oatmeal does really well with my daughter and she's only 2.5 months. Slept all night last night!
He eats at least 2 solid meals a day and snacks thru out the day. Probably takes about 3-4 bottles too.
try to feed him more solids during the day and try to reduce the milk to like 3 times a day . morning after lunch and dinner. and try to get him to eat a snack in between meals . he shouldn't be too hungry if he eats more solids . and then try the Paci at night . but dip it in the formula. that should work. but , don't worry hun you will get it . it takes time . my daughter was the same for awhile . but I had realized the more she ate in the day the less she wanted her bottle. like those Gerber mini meals are great . and the snacks . my daughter loved those . and it's finger food.
She'd sleep*
