If you haven't had any problem they don't give too many ultrasounds . They measure your uterus which gives them a good indication baby is growing or not ! If it was off to much they would order an ultrasound. They usually give you one closer to the end to make sure baby is head down and check fluid levels :)

My dr only checks heartbeat and feels my stomach.. No actual measuring lol :/

Yeah my dr told me that if my measurements start becoming off either too small or too big I'll get an ultrasound to see where baby is.

Usually they measure your belly too. That's what mine does. But I'm pretty sure it's mostly all estimates. They don't really ever know how big baby will be
