Well... I guess this is normal out in the country. We were visited by this little girl last night before cooking dinner. We have no clue where she came from and she doesn't have any tags. She hasn't left our porch. She clearly has had puppies and we think her owners may have just dropped her off in the country after weening her pups off. Last night she did scare off a few deer, chased down some lightning bugs, and by the smell of it, got into it with a skunk. We don't necessarily need a dog nor do we want one because we are here in Indiana for a year, but I guess she wants us. (That's my dad in the picture with what my mom calls "Little Fella").

I hate humans! This poor mama needs a loving home. I ended up with a beautiful black lab because someone dumped her in the country when she was pregnant. (I lived in southern Illinois.) She ended up having 13 puppies! We found them all homes and kept her. I definitely didn't need another dog, but, she needed me. Best choice I made was to keep her and give her a loving home.

I'd love to give her a home but I've already got my hands full with a needy cat (that doesn't like any other cats or dogs) and a one month old little one. And being that my family and I move around ALOT it makes it hard even with a cat.
