the only way I'd keep my child away from his father is if he is abusive in some way. if he chose not to be with me that isn't a reason to keep him away from his child. give him the opportunity to be a father even if he isn't with you.
my child's father want legitimate rights?? should I be grown about it ?? or feel some type of way cause im not the type to do anything crazy .. like taking him away from his child

Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? He's constantly cancelling whole weekends or taking our son a quarter of his ordered time. He also isn't following the meets on the order. Almost every Sunday he has him I get a message that he doesn't have a car so I have to get my son, or he tells me i have to run him out there. I'm already having cut hours at work and getting no child support from him since he's been continuously in and out of work.
Wish I could take a full body pic but his Doctor want me to keep him swallowed because his temperature has been really low which has kept me an my baby away from each other all day 😢😟 I haven't got a chance to be with him at all do to it she's been keeping him to keep a close eye on him. I haven't counted his lil toes or none yet 😟 but he's finally here now an I missed him so much omg but I wasn't about to rush them to bring him knowing his health comes first because if it wasn't some to be concerned about they would've kept him literally the whole day from noon to now. Im so in love with him an his brothers put together ain't no love stronger than this.
Can you into some type of trouble from keeping your child away from their father ? I refuse to let my baby stay with her dad last time I know he was homeless moving from place to place had no money now he's harassing me to take her .... he would not let me know where she will be staying. I don't trust him.

exactly! I wouldn't want to pay child support for a kid a mother is selfishly keeping from me either! why would you expect a man to give you money to support a child he doesn't have rights to!

I completely agree. Unless he has somehow given me reason that he would harm the child, he has every right to see his child. It's just as much the father's child. My Fiancé and I have had this talk. My dad trued to get full custody to hurt my mom and in the end that only hurts the kids.

exactly! I would never use my child(ren) as a pawn to hurt someone. the only reason to keep a child away from someone is safety. nothing more. @tierlarie
