any suggestions been throwing up since yesterday, hot flashes, lots of cramps, contractions just above 3 minutes and pressure. I keep being told to wait to go in because its not labor. but what is it then?

All of those are signs of labor... If you are having contractions 3 minutes apart consistently then who ever is telling it's not labor is crazy. Never hurts to go get checked out
