My labor story: On Monday June 29th I had an appointment at 8 am for a sonogram and a stress test to see what was going on with baby girl (40wks,2days). While in my appointment they noticed no movement whatsoever and major low amniotic fluid so the doctor came in and said they wanted me induced that day at 8 pm (that was the only time I could get in). So at 8 I arrived and the hospital, got all set in the delivery room, got all the ivs and medicine put in me, and at around 12 is when they put in the cervadil since I was only a half of a centimeter dialated. I started contracting really hard and super fast so at about 4 am they had to take the cervadil out because it was stressing baby out and my bp was rising way to much, after that contractions still were coming on hard so at about 10 am they came in and broke my water and I took my chance and got up and walked around and bounced for like a second on the birthing ball both definitely did good because I got all the way to 4 in a half centimeters, and things moved quickly from there on out, started contracting harder to where they weren't flat lining below a 40 and they would get all the way to 90 so at about 12 pm I decided to get the epidural, at that time I didn't know I was already at 9 cm but I am glad I didn't completely steer my mind away from the epidural because it sure helped, after that nurses came in at about 1 pm and asked if I was ready to push and I decided let's get this over with so after about 2 hours of pushing my baby girl arrived at 3:29 pm at 6 pounds 13 ounces and completely healthy :)
