Try and show willingness rang work and said I can do last three hours of my shift as they couldn't cover it. sickness has stopped so should be ok. think I can only manage three hours! terrified my absence will affect my mat pay. Hopefully this will help and means I've only lost out on 5 hours instead of 9. This pregnancy is nowt but a worry. x

If you have to be off sick for any reason at all during pregnancy that is pregnancy related they can not sack or discipline you it's actually illegal and you are protected! Do what is best for you and your baby and not work, I have learnt this recently that too much worrying about work makes it worse for the baby! X

Yeah you're right. Just gotta watch the 8 weeks before your mat leave starts. If u don't earn ur normal hours it can affect your mat pay. I was fine when I got there and felt better for it. I certainly don't force myself. I've hardly been at work in last 7 months. Can't be helped x
