mommies: my son has a bad butt rash (he's sick and has diarrhea, already contacted doctor don't start in on me)
what all do you use to help your little ones bums?/: I've tried desitin and it doesn't seem to be helping...he screams and cries when I try to wipe him and apply the cream.....any advice welcome.

Only use a wet washcloth to wipe his bottom. Wipes tend to make it worse sometimes. Don't freak out rashes happen you got this momma. :) Try using a different type of diaper also some just irritate the skin. Best of luck and hope your baby feels better. I wouldn't go diaper-less if he has an upset tummy BTW shit goes everywhere lol excuse my language.
I use aquaphor and have had zero rash problems and I use it after Every diaper change
I used this stuff called Butt Paste on my niece when she had a rash and put a cool towel on her butt. It calmed her down a lot
Lots of naked time. I used neosporen (not exactly the cheapest option) and vasoline over the butt so no extra moisture could irritate the sore butt.
I tried a bath, he's so cranky he was trying to climb out. /:
I agree a bath works temporarily!
I use powder and a&d and it went away rather quickly I always let him soak in the tub to if his butt hurts too bad :(
watermelon juice. hubbys gramma used it on all th e grandbabies and rash was healed within 24hrs
