FTM: I'm reading a book about baby first year and I'm on a chapter about labor and birth... I was wondering if anyone have heard or done what's called a kangaroo care( it's where your baby is given to you after the checkup and naked and you lay your baby on you naked also, it supposed to help with a few thing)

with both my boys I did this & plan to do it with my soon to be babygirl. I can notttt explain the feeling & connection you will feel with baby once they are on you it has truelly been love at 1st sight Im getting teary eyed just thinking about it !
if you talk about your man problems more then your baby this is not the site for you smh....

When my son came out, my husband cut the cord then they laid Kaiden on me (on top of blankets) wiped him off a bit and diapered him, then laid him on my bare chest, it was amazing, he stopped crying, and then automatically tried to latch. He stayed there for two hours and then they weighed him and stuff like that.
