a birth plan is something you can do when u go into labor like if you want certain things. (Example: If you want an epidural , you put on your birth plan that you would like an epidural. or if you want the lights dim and not bright then you put that on your birth plan) its however you would like your plan to be when giving birth 😘😘

And idea of how you want your labor to be. Pain meds or no? Baby cleaned off first or placed directly on your chest? Daddy cuts the cord or no? Basic stuff like that.. You can google birth plans and examples should come up.

Thanks @queenquee @mommyofkaiden . Could that also include who I want in my delivery room. My in laws want in but I only want my mother and husband. I don't want a bunch of people (even if family) looking up my hoohaa. If I include that in the birth plan does that mean when it's time for me to deliver the nurses/Dr tells them to leave the room so I don't have to😁

yes you can tell them who you want and who you don't want to be in the delivery room. its all your option of how you want it. its left to you. (idk , If the doctor tell them to leave or not maybe you could check with your doctor and ask I've never experienced that lol cause I never let nobody know I'm in labor besides my husband until he baby is born)

Yes @babyn2015, some hospitals say only 2-3 people in the room. I was only allowed to have 2. But you can tell the nurses that you don't want certain people or anyone back there and they will either make up an excuse or just tell them straight up.
