Natural hair mommies how are you/did you wear your hair for delivery? I just got my hair braided because I was tired of messing with it and I was going to get it done again before the baby comes but I'm on day 3 still with a sore head and headache and I know she went easy on me. Im thinking braids aren't happening again Im too sensitive right now. I'm looking for alternatives that won't leave me looking crazy in the delivery room. HELP!!!!

Girl I Just Got Braids Too 😩 But My Aunt Had Her Baby Last September And She's Natural..She Said She Should've Got Braids Instead Of Tracks For Delivery..The Top Of Her Hair Was In A Big Poof After She Had Him...So I Guess Braids Would Be Better

For my delivery in Oct , I plan on having kinky twists . While in labor I will put them in a bun . But if not I will have plaits in there because I always do braid outs . 😁😁

Your welcome . I like those cause they are easier on the scalp and hair tension . 😅 I'm in Cali so my sis does mines but they are never tight so I don't feel like I'm losing my hair . lol

@summerlove96, me too! I've been so grouchy because of it. I keep having to apologize to my husband because I have no patience. Tylenol barely takes the edge off!

I did a messy bun at the top of my head I have a head full of curly wavy mess on the top of my head Lol. but it was cute and easy

@momofroyalty, I wish my hair was long enough! I've got about a 3-4in fro when blown out. I just started in November growing it out but my natural is 4c with crazy shrinkage! To be able to pull it back or up would be amazing!

I plan on doing crown braids and wearing a bun or doing my typical queen move and giving birth while my hair is wrapped up in a regal scarf. I think I'd love the pictures with the wrap and my new baby.

I wear wraps often in cooler months. Other times it's a curly fro. I'm pretty sure I can twist it up into a cute style then wrap it. If the wrap gets loose or comes off, I need my hair to be on point lol.

@queeneden, my hair is still pretty short...I rarely wear my fro. I'm usually in a wig but now that it's so hot I have it braided into a bun. I'll have to figure out how to wear it underneath. Just in case
