I had my 1st sonogram at 8 weeks on June 10th I had another sonogram on July 1st due to a scare of cramping pain (baby was fine😌) but I have my 12 week sonogram on July 10th and then another 1 when I'm 19 weeks. Is it bad to keep getting sonograms???
Last year on July 10th I went in for an ultrasound at 10:00 am.. Only to find that my daughter Lily had passed away and no longer had a heart beat.... On July 15th last year I had surgery to remove her... My last ultrasound is scheduled for next Friday....July 10th at 10:45am.... My induction is scheduled for July 15th ! Isn't it amazing how God works ... Only he would take the worst day of my life and turn it into the best day ...👌
You guys dont judge but i also need some feedbck...well im almost 15 weeks and just now about to have my 1st ob appointment and i had a ultrasound done via the hospital when i was 6 weeks what are the chances of me having another coming up with this on this appointment ?
I have a question , i conceived July 1st of 2017 my due date is march 28th so how am i 7 months already shouldn't i had been 6 months as soon as January 1st hit
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
My first doctors appointment is finally scheduled for May 10th , ill be 11 weeks . My damn mother in law is trying to argue with me that they WILL do a vaginal sonogram , not the jelly on my belly . What's gonna happen ladies ?

actually the FDA is now suggesting as few ultrasounds as possible with two being the max unless medically necessary for the health of the infant or mother. There's no full studies on how ultrasound will affect a growing fetus long term both in or out of the womb with minimal or lots of exposure. This is why insurance companies typically only cover one or two unless it is medically required for diagnostic purposes.

Yeah at 11 weeks my doctor won't even attempt to listen to the baby on a Doppler she says baby is still so little and sometimes it hard to find it. My doc won't use the Doppler till 15 weeks

Studies have shown ultrasound is not hazardous. There are no harmful side effects to you or your baby. In addition, ultrasound does not use radiation, as X-ray tests do 😉

@Sarabrewer04, ok good I feel relieved now. Lol thanks! Yeah she couldn't find the heart beat on the Doppler which made me more nervous lol then when I got the sonogram we realized it's because the baby was moving like crazzyyyy and I'm only 11 weeks ugh I can imagine once I start feeling them😍😍 lol

That's normal.. You just got that extra from the scare you had. My doc does them at 8, 12, 20 then another one in the third trimester. And sometimes they will do a quick one before baby is born

@abella1023 it's not bad they are just keeping their eye on things. I have a placenta previa so I'm getting all of these done so they can keep an eye on my placenta
