lol I have a 17 month old and I can sit there and tell him no 20 times for something and he would be right back at in a second.

somewhat yea certain thing you tell them they should understand even tho you might have to say it a couple times

thats what i figured. my nephew listened to a couple things by this age. i babysit my boyfriends nephew and he dont listen to crap. he dont listen to his name or evem as simple as no even after the 50th time. 😑😑😡 @babyethansmommy

It's really what they are used to. I am a preschool teacher at a daycare center and I see many 13 months old that listen very well, and a couple that just do their own thing.

My 12mo listens to me when I tell her to "give that to Mommy!" and sometimes when I tell her "no." (depending on what it is and her mood lol)

well he kept hitting me like over and over and i would tell him no or stop and he just kept going and then he likes to mess with my baby alot and ill be like no and he just looks at me and keeps doing it. @cookiemonster1216

Yeah, she does that to me too sometimes. The best way is to divert their attention to something else. Remove them from the situation they're currently in and show them something else.

oh ok so im doing something kinda right @cookiemonster1216 when hes messing with henlei and he doesnt listen i just pick him up and put him by his toys.
