Will you still dilate if you have painless contractions? I don't know if I've had actual contractions my belly will tighten up sometimes and sometimes I'll feel a little uncomfortable when it does it but that's it

It might just be Braxton Hicks contractions if they're not painful.

Yep! The night I was admitted they gave my a dose of morphine so I could sleep through the night, I went to bed at 3cm and I woke up at 7cm, and it was all pain free.
