Ok bassinet or rock n play? and if bassinet what kind? Me and hubby are debating which one and don't…

I got both and my son hated his bassinet. Still does. He hates being laid back. He likes to be reclined a little like the rock n play.

Ok ya I want more of the rock in play but hubby wants bassinet. @valerie_jean And @suggacheay we just want it for like the first three weeks. We have a crib but I want him by my bed for a little while.

Believe it or not it's not as easy to transition them into their crib. My son still isn't and he's 4 months, he sleeps in his rock n play. He won't sleep in his crib yet:( it sucks! And I've tried so hard! Lol

Oh I understand completely! we were given one which was really nice but my god daughter is 8 weeks and she is getting way to big for it haha @edomke

We went straight to the crib just have a video monitor and the Angel infant under the mattress motion sensor plus a nice glider in her room when she was eating at night...she's slept wonderfully in her crib since day one at home

@hayleymarie, I just get so worried something will happen (SIDS) and I wanna be with him as much as possible. Lol I know I shouldn't but maybe I'll just do it the first week or couple of nights? My sister has a rock and play she would give me. Where can I get an angel infant motion sensor and how does that work? That might make me feel better

@valerie_jean, yea I just get so worried about SIDS like idk I know it sounds dumb but I would rather watch him all night and have him be with his mommy then be by himself and something happens and I'm not there...decisions decisions

We got ours on Amazon it's the Angel care motion sensor and we have the summer infant video monitor if it doesn't detect any movement after 20 secs it makes noise...I was afraid at first but trust me once your mommy senses kick in you will wake up even if you can barely hear him cry I've even woke up right before she started crying

i have both as well and henlei hated her bassinet she is 6 months and still going strong in her rock n play thats what she sleeps in at night if she isnt sleeping with me lol.
