Question ladies!! I want the good the bad and the ugly! I'm due in August I am a first time mommy also. I have been told to let my doctor cut me down stairs so I don't rip, and then again I have also been told not to and let my body rip as much as it needs that the doctor could cut down too much. What are your experiences and or opinions?
Uh do not let yourself rip they let my brothers girlfriend rip and she had a third degree tear because of this. And she swelled up so bad it looked like she had a set of nuts and it was painful and she couldn't sit for weeks. They cut me with my first it is a very small cut and u won't even notice it.
my Dr explained that if you rip you will heal better because it's natural and your body knows best but he would cut me only if he had too.
Just let your doctor know that you're okay with them cutting you but ONLY if it's necessary because like I said not everybody tears
I would just let your body do what it has to do on its own. Not everybody rips, and you don't even feel it. It heals quickly.
I had to have a full episiotomy because my son was too big and I started to tear and he was still stuck and that's when he said he was cut me. I will tell you I was glad he did because a clean straight line cut is easier to sew up and the healing time was less (still look longer then a c-section though) and it healed much better looking then if I had ripped all the way through
thank you ladies so much!! now o have some thinking to do! lol!@sarabrewer04 @eskawho @valerie_jean @karnawest
