I don't go in for another 6 days for my ultrasound but every day I am getting more and more scared/ nervous about baby…

omg that's totally me !! I'm terrified to go in and them not find a heart beat I felt him all last week and nothing for days. look at my post last night tho and read the comments I feel a little better but I'm right there w u girl. I go Monday

I feel the same way!!! so nervous!!! I don't go in until Monday and it seems so far away!!! btw how did you find out he is a boy?

@livd15, @bsummers Monday is way too far away! 😩😩 I just want 1 kick a day! That's all that I'm asking for. And I'm so freaked out. Like I just keep replaying the words in my head of them telling me something is wrong and I pray so hard that I'm just over thinking it. He's still little. And I know some moms don't feel baby move until up to 19-21 weeks! But he was just so active last week! And this week I had a pretty bad cold and I'm still sick so that made me freak out even more!!!! And okay I will go read it now! And I found out baby's gender at 16 weeks via blood test for Downs!!! I was supposed to find out at 15 weeks but blood work took forever to come back!!!!

preggie says I'm 12 weeks 2 days but according to my Dr I'm 13 weeks tomorrow... I understand completely how you feel. I haven't even started to feel any movement yet 😞 I'm having the blood test for Downs and gender on Monday! I'm so so nervous! how long did it take for you to get your results back!

I found out at 14 weeks at this place in my area that does it thru ultrasound it was amazing

@bsummers, the way my doctor worked it out. I had the "harmony" test done. The test was far. 2 viles of blood in and out. They then shipped it to Cali, I live in Fl and it was only supposed to take 1 week but mine took 2 weeks for the results to come back! All was great with his chromosomes and he's a boy. Which is what I knew I was having but that's what we hoped for a healthy baby boy!

@livd15, that's awesome! I could have done that as well and paid out of pocket for the ultrasound but I knew I was doing the blood test at 14 weeks and that was covered by my insurance. So I didn't want to waste the money to found out 2 weeks earlier!

2 viles of blood? Ugh. the one they are giving me is verify progenity. I'm so nervous about the whole thing. I'm not good with needles and I am so worried something is gonna be wrong... 1st & foremost I just want my baby to be 100% healthy. I'm also extremely nervous about finding out the gender...

@bsummers, I was the same way! And I hate getting my blood drawn. For my pregnancy panel they took 8 vials and ran every test under the sun but everything is normal and baby is healthy!

@camdensmama, ya that's smart ! we didn't do that testing. I think my doc is retarded or just didn't wanna tell me but I said we can tell gender from these tests too right and she was like no and looked at Me like I was crazy I was like yes u can ...

@livd15, yea you can. Because they are able to see if the baby has an Y chromosome! Lol which if a Y chrome shows up. It means boy. And if there are no Y chromes. Only Xs then it's a girl. Lol

do you know what you are having yet? and do you feel full blown kicks now or is it the quickening feeling?

@camdensmama, that's what I told this nurse and she legit looked at Mr like I had two heads. this convo actually has me looking for a new ob. like how can I trust a doc that doesn't know that

@jorgeandlindsay, it's a boy. And I've only felt maybe 2-3 strong kicks in the last month. But other than that it's been small flutter or rolls. Nothing strong!

@livd15, oh wow. That's ridiculous. I would definitely switch!!!! Like she's supposed to deliver your baby but she doesn't even know about a blood test!!!!

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. I read that you don't count the kicks until they are well announced and really active. hopefully that helps.

@livd15, that's my good. My doctors office usually has me in and out. But they're so good about making sure all my questions are answered and that I'm comfortable with the info I am given at each visit.
