Need opinions on the tdap shot while pregnant? My midwife offered it to me yesterday and I told her I would let her know my next appt.
should I get it for me and the baby?

My dr told me it's not mandatory but he definitely recommends it. It lowers babies risk for whooping cough. I'm going to get it and so is hubby since my dr gets 2 free shots per patient

Oh okay :) thank you guys. It's just me and baby so I just want to make sure I do everything safe since I have no idea about any of this.

You can wait until after you give birth. That's what I did.

I just got it a few weeks ago. I recently saw a friend's baby that obtained whooping cough... this baby was on the brink of death, it scared me so much, I didn't think much or cared for it. but now it has me all paranoid and adviced family and friends to please make sure they get vaccinated if they wish to hold my son.. if they decide not to they have to wait a couple of months before my son gets his.
