I'm sure he is, it's just always been a tough day along with his birthday as well....I was old enough to remember everything that happened that day in detail and it's one of the reasons I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder so when these specific days roll around even when I'm thinking of the good memories the traumatic ones work their way in even when I try not to let them! And I used to call my dad every year on this day and over the past few years he has just wanted to be left alone and I have a harder time dealing with these days when I can't talk to my daddy, bc we are the only ones who openly discuss and mourn my brother! Everyone else including my mother doesn't dare say my brothers name and that is heartbreaking to me!

its a little part of you. ur sibling.its understandable to mourn. if ur parents dont want to talk about it it may b because theyvare healing in the form of forgetting. we all cope diferently. have u tried mayb doing a service in church in honor of ur brother. my auntie does this. she raised her bros in a way...she was the eldest...and she has buried three so far...she always says that helps her.

the pain never goes away but knowing that he will meet u at the gates of heaven I hope can give u some comfort

Sorry for your loss. He is with you always. About 3 years ago I contracted the same thing. Keep your head up.
