Also, Try propping ur bottom up. Like, make 2 fists n place them under ur butt when he checks u. Maybe ur cervix is still high up. That position will help him check u faster n a little less painful for u.

If he would've stripped u, u would've been in labor that night or the following day. It shouldn't hurt, but with the exception of contractions. But don't be scared. Yes.... it will hurt, but the pain will be well worth it when u have ur baby in ur arms. after u meet him/her, you'll forget the pain. 😊

thanks, congrats to you too! yeah that's what I heard . when he checked me I wasn't effaced, dilated or anything but I'm getting checked again this Thursday. Last time I got checked it hurt so bad and I asked if he was sure he didn't strip my membranes and he said no its really painful and I would know. so kinda scared about that as well.

In regards to the induction, I've been induced ever single time n yes... it sux bc the meds r forcing ur body to do something it's not ready to. Supposedly it's more painful than natural labor, but I wouldn't know the difference. 😟

Ask ur Dr if he/she can strip ur membranes. That will help u go into labor. My Dr doesn't do it. Wish he did. @mariceladez

5 days? that's crazy! I'm due the 11th! I was wondering about induction, I got my cervix checked two weeks ago and he said it was closed and nothing was happening yet so I'm afraid of induction because I heard it sucks? is this true?
