Worrired- I have lost my job due to been pregnant. Currently im soooo stressed, feel sick and im totally shattered. What can i do for money? My other half earns £18,000 a year which i think rules us out for income support. Stuck. Help, any advice??? 😓 😔

You can't be sacked for being pregnant this is unfair dismissal you can take this to a tribunal I wouldn't let them get away with it love xx

Usually 11 weeks before your due date you can get income support I would ring up the advice line they will let you know what you're entitled to x

im sure its later on when your pregnancy is more 'established' that you can start getting help such as income support. check gov.uk they usually have loads of advice x

I doubt you will be entitled to anything unfortunately. when my husband was made redundant he couldn't even get Job seekers because I was working. but at only 10 weeks you can get a other job without having to disclose your pregnancy to the employer. I know it's hard with only one person working. my husband was made redundant when I fell pregannt and I didn't earn enough to pay all our bills and pay for baby stuff. It will work out thou just try not to stress too much about it x

Well sort of. I work as a housekeeper and they call me when they need me (normally 3-4 times a week).... but the last 2 weeks ive had no phone call, i texted and they said they were covered. Not sacked i guess, more dropped. Money is running thin now.
