it's perfectly ok to eat sprouts. It has many great vitamins none of.which hurt baby :)

Actually sprouts can only be consumed if fully cooked. Consuming raw sprouts while being pregnant is extremely hazardous as they can contain harmful bacteria such as e-coli or salmonella.

You were right @brightsunsett , I think you did the right thing by forewarning a fellow mommy of something potentially harmful!

I don't know why because I don't eat sprouts but I heard it was harmful, so I was letting her know. and if the shoe fits lol @mssjudyk there was no reason for you to even put your 2 cents in, I wasn't asking about it I was just informing her, as I would like to know if something could be potentially harmful to my child.

@heather_95, I don't think that was rude. I just wasn't sugar coating my point. I found it a little funny because usually when ppl give advice it's to help the other person, which means you've researched the subject the fact that she got offended and proceeded to curse, that's rude. It wasn't an attack the fact that y'all.see it that way surprises me.

@mssjudyk, @brightsunsett thank you both for your advice. I bought the "ready to eat" package which is supposed to be well disinfected and no bacteria resides on it. Still though, I had no idea it was that bad so I'll steam it from now on.
